International Women's Day 2018

March 8, 2018: In honor of International Women's Day, Harpswell students, alumnae and staff gathered at the TT dorm in Phnom Penh for a day of food, song, dance, comedy performances and the annual Eco-Fashion Show. Students used paper and plastic materials to construct recyclable dresses and skirts.On this important day, Harpswell recognizes the accomplishments of women worldwide, especially those of Harpswell students and alumnae. This past year alone, Harpswell women were awarded fellowships, won innovation, business, essay and English-speaking competitions, studied abroad, received masters degrees, flourished as musicians and landed internships and jobs at an array of respected companies and organizations.Communications Team Leader, Sotheavy, created a video about the celebration.
