Join us in giving the Class of 2029 a powerful running start to their university years and to their future as changemakers.
Run for the Class of 2029
In December, Harpswell students, staff and supporters are taking on the Angkor Wat 5k and Half Marathon with one goal in mind: raising $77,900 for the Class of 2029.
Very soon, 19 remarkable young women will join Harpswell as the newest members of our family.
Coming from more than 14 rural provinces across the Kingdom, many are the first in their families to attend university, and all were chosen from one of the most competitive applicant pools in our history. Our new cohort will be studying at universities across Phnom Penh in courses ranging from Medicine, Law and Engineering to IT, Architecture and International Relations.
Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting the Class of 2029 in their first year at Harpswell, including but not limited to:
Critical thinking, civic engagement and leadership classes that prepare them to be changemakers
Nutritious daily meals to keep students healthy and focused
Medical care and insurance so they can study without worry
Safe housing in our residential leadership centers with a supportive sisterhood
Up-to-date technology and internet access for academic success
Mentorship and academic enrichment programs that broaden horizons and open opportunities
Support Harpswell and help power a life-changing, community-lifting force for good. No matter how big or small the contribution, we will ensure it makes a difference.
Each dollar donated goes directly to our in-country programs.

“I had the opportunity to visit with Harpswell students...Each girl spoke about her educational goals. I was struck by their sharp focus on preparing themselves to be Cambodia’s next generation of leaders in law, biochemistry and engineering.
These aren’t pie-in-the-sky gals. They are well aware of the challenges that lie ahead in rebuilding their country, especially as women.
Most of all it was inspiring to see young people who are so passionate about learning!”
