Leadership Seminar with Harpswell Country Director, Samneang Moul

November 5, 2018: Yesterday, Harpswell students attended a leadership seminar led by Harpswell Country Director, Samneang Moul. The seminar focused on the concept of “common shared meaning.” The discussion began with a case study of Arogya Bhagins, the founder of the Self-Employed Women’s Association, a women’s trade union in India. Samneang linked this model of group action, unity and protection for women with teachers’ and workers’ unions in Cambodia.  The seminar concluded with a few rounds of the game, “Telephone,” which demonstrates the importance of group and individual communication.
