Harpswell Students Attend Social Media Workshop

October 4, 2018: Last weekend, four Harpswell students, Top Chanroth, Yarn Somphors, Mom Sambath and Ying Srey Pov, participated in social media workshop for women in Phnom Penh. The workshop, “My Voice Counts,” was organized by the DW Akademie, a German organization that provides media training.

The workshop covered a range of topics, including photography, video and photo editing, and news reporting. Discussions focused on evaluating the credibility of news sources and the intersection of privacy and social media.Chanroth, Somphors, Sambath and Srey Pov will use these skills in their roles as social media team leaders at Harpswell. They had a great time bonding with the workshop participants, participating in the group discussions, and building their social media skills.
