September 30, 2018: Harpswell students met author Menno De Block to discuss his book, “Diving Deep, Going Far.”

The book chronicles the lives of four young women leaders in Cambodia. Like Harpswell students, the women in the book are pursuing higher education in the city. Mr. De Block interviewed Harspwell alumnae while writing the book.Mr. DeBlock began the event with a brain exercise before launching into a lively discussion of the book. Students enjoyed drawings parallels between the experiences of the characters in the book and their own personal experiences.
