Harpswell Student Selected as Valedictorian at AUPP

During her time at university, she took on many leadership roles: she organized a debate forum, co-drafted the University’s first student government constitution, founded and later became the editor of the first student- led newspaper at AUPP, led a Latin Culture Club, and organized the first ASEAN Model Meeting at AUPP. At Harpswell, she ran the English-Speaking Club and was a Self-Study Team Leader. She studied at two research-intensive institutions, spent a semester at American University in Washington DC, and won the US Peace Corps 2015 Write-On Competition. This summer, Sievlan will return to the US as a Harpswell US Fellow to study sustainable development at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia.
