March 12, 2026 - Harpswell is pleased to announce that Carolyn Florey, William (Bill) Heidt, Renée Lahti and Tean Ly have joined the Board of Trustees.

Ambassador William Heidt (ret.) spent three decades in the U.S. Foreign Service. During his career he served assignments in Cambodia, Indonesia, Poland and the US. He is proficient in Khmer, Indonesian, Polish and German. From September 2015 to December 2018, he served as the U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia. He currently works as the Senior Director at Vriens & Partners, Southeast Asia's leading government affairs consultancy.
Carolyn Florey is a Digital Development Specialist at the Asian Development Bank, focusing on Digital Public Infrastructure and Digital Government. She also serves on the board of the Guttmacher Institute. Previously, she was Senior Director, Technology for Development at Mercy Corps, leading organizational strategy on digital technology applications across programs.
Renée Lahti is a strategic advisor and systems thinker with over twenty-five years of experience in business transformation and data literacy. Her career has taken her across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia, where she has coached and led cross-cultural teams. In 2020, she founded Linei Kōkua Advisory to support nonprofit, academic and private-sector organizations in navigating the ethical and strategic implications of data and AI.
Tean Ly is a global development and finance leader with over twenty years experience building platforms and partnerships. She began her career financing affordable housing in community development investment banking at Citigroup, then expanded across private equity, corporate banking in Cambodia, and strategic advisory before designing and launching the Asian Development Bank's Frontier facility.
